Story

All tales...are at some level a journey into the woods to find the missing part of us, to retrieve it and make ourselves whole.
— John Yorke, Into the Woods: A Five Act Journey Into Story

Story is everything.

It’s how we make sense of life, how we connect, how we remember. It’s not just about what happens on your wedding day—it’s about why it matters, and how every little moment is part of a much bigger narrative. That’s why, for me, storytelling isn’t just a part of filmmaking—it is the craft.

When you choose a wedding videographer, you’re not just hiring someone to capture pretty shots—you’re trusting someone to understand your story, your energy, and what makes you two you. My goal is to reflect that in every frame: the way you look at each other, the quiet moments you think no one noticed, the joy, the nerves, the wild dance floor energy, and the deep love underneath it all.

This page is where I share a bit of my story, how I approach telling yours, and how—together—we’ll create something meaningful: a story-driven wedding film that captures not just what your day looked like, but what it felt like.

Your Forever Film.

My story

Storytelling has always been at the heart of who I am.

As a teenager, I worked my way through every “Greatest Films of All Time” list I could find—drawn to the emotion, the characters, and the way a great story could make you feel something real.

That love for cinema led me to film school. Since graduating, I’ve spent years crafting story-driven films for charities, education, and commercial clients—helping people and organisations share the work they do with heart.

But wedding filmmaking? That came a little later.

When my wife and I got married in 2021, we didn’t think we needed a videographer—we figured photos would be enough. But one of my groomsmen (luckily a filmmaker) surprised us by capturing the day and putting together a film. Looking back now, it’s one of the things we treasure most. Being able to feel the day again—the voices, the movement, the joy—is something I’ll always be grateful for.

That feeling deepened when I became a dad in 2024. Watching our daughter, Ivy Joy, grow so quickly has changed how I see time. The little moments—her laugh, the way she started to crawl, how she experiences the world—I find myself reaching for the camera, just to hold onto it all a little longer. And that’s when it clicked. This is what I want to give others: a way to hold onto the moments that matter. The joy, the love, the fleeting magic—captured on film, to feel forever.

And that’s how Everjoy Wedding Films came to life—
A way to tell love stories with honesty and heart. Unique wedding films that let you not just remember your day, but feel it. Again and again.

Your Story

No two couples are the same—and no two wedding films should be either.

Your story isn't just about one day. It’s about everything that’s brought you to this moment: the little quirks, the quiet strength, the big belly laughs, the way you show up for each other, and the people who’ve been part of that journey. That’s the heart of what I aim to capture.

I take a documentary-style approach, which means I don’t direct or script. I observe. I look for the real, the honest, the joyful. The in-between moments you might not even notice in the rush of the day—but when you see them later, you feel them.

Before the cameras roll, I want to get to know you—who you are as individuals and as a couple. What makes your connection unique. The energy between you. Because when I understand that, I can craft a wedding film with heart that doesn’t just tell your story... it feels like you.

Our Story

The best films happen when there’s trust, connection, and a shared vision. That’s why, to me, this isn’t just a service—it’s a story we create together.

From the moment you get in touch, I’m not just learning about your wedding plans—I’m getting to know you. What makes your relationship special, what matters most to you, and how you want your day to feel. The more I understand, the more intentional I can be in how I capture it.

On the day itself, I take a documentary-style approach. I’m right there in the mix—discreet, observant, and tuned in to the real, unscripted moments unfolding all around. My goal isn’t just to make something beautiful—it’s to create something true. A timeless wedding film that reflects your story, your energy, your love.

By the time you press play, what you’ll see won’t just be a wedding highlight film—it’ll be your story, crafted with joy and made to be felt for a lifetime.
